GF Moto is pleased to announce that we have been selected by Motorcycle News (MCN) to deliver a bespoke aftermarket exhaust system for their Super Hooligan flat track racer.
Based on a Harley Davidson Street 750, the Super Hooligan will be unveiled at the MCN Festival of Motorcycling in May where it will be raced in the Dirt Quake event. It will also race at other dirt track events later in the season.
The exhaust system will be produced in stainless steel and will feature twin GF Moto End Can's - the first system of it's kind to do so - and will be manufactured with high-level ground clearance.
Discussing the project, GF Moto Managing Director Neil Morgan, said "This is an interesting and exciting project which gives GF Moto the opportunity to demonstrate our fabrication skills to a wider audience.
"The MCN system we are producing is going to receive significant exposure at a number of events, as well as featuring within the publication taking readers through the fabrication process itself.
"This will be a unique opportunity for people to get a glimpse at the fabrication methods we have employed within Formula 1 and how we are now using them to manufacture hand-made, super-lightweight exhaust systems for the motorcycle market."
Production of the twin GF Moto End Can's has been completed and fabrication of the headers is well under way as shown in the gallery below.
