GF Moto have launched an impressive new range of super-lightweight Titanium end cans for the BMW S1000RR featuring a distinctive gravel catcher and baffle as standard.
The new end cans are available in either a standard Slip On or 'Stubby' version both of which will fit with the stock headers for the 2015-2016 models or the GF Moto Inconel header set. Both end cans offer impressive weight gains compared to the stock end can. The Slip On for example weighs just 0.95kg, a saving of 3.25kg while the Stubby is even lighter at 0.8kg giving a saving of 3.4kg.
If those savings weren't impressive enough, the weight reduction of the full system against stock is even more appealing. Using the standard Slip On, the overall saving is 6.95kg while combining the Stubby version with the Inconel headers gives an overall saving of 7.1kg. They also sound great with the Slip On producing a dB level of 97.4 and the Stubby 97.9dB at 8,000rpm.
Both versions of the end can are issued with a distinctive GP-style gravel catcher, also manufactured from Titanium as is the baffle and are available to buy online at £615 and £645 for the Stubby and Slip On respectively.
